This Public Notice serves to inform the general public and our valued clients of the availability of the Authority’s (ICA) electronic visa application (e-Visa) portal.
The e-Visa portal is a world standard traveller facilitation system, which allows applicants to submit a visa application wherever an internet connection is available. Travellers to Papua New Guinea can apply for the following visas via the e-Visa portal (evisa.ica.gov.pg/evisa/account/Apply):
Available for tourists to PNG from nationalities who currently have access to Visa on Arrival (VOA).
Available to Australian passport holders who are coming on holiday to PNG.
Business people who currently have access to VOA.
For our valued partners delivering services to the PNG community.
Brought forward for delivery to further support APEC leaders’ week.

Following the release of e-Visa portal ICA will no longer be accepting visa applications at our Overseas Missions and Posts from individuals from VOA eligible countries for the following visas:
VOA eligible applicants for these visa classes are encouraged to submit their applications using the e-Visa portal.
In addition to submitting visa applications online, travellers to PNG can instantaneously verify their visa status without having to contact ICA using the e-Visa online verification tool. The online verification tool can be found at www.e-visa.ica.gov.pg/account/status.
