Mandatory Completion Of PNG Digital Arrival Card

The Papua New Guinea Immigration and Citizenship Services Authority (ICSA) hereby advise all international airlines, ground handling agents and check-in personnel that the Papua New Guinea Digital Arrival Card (PNGDAC) is a mandatory pre-arrival requirement for all persons travelling to Papua New Guinea, including:

  1. Papua New Guinea Citizens
  2. Permanent Residents and;
  3. All Foreign Nationals.

This directive is issued pursuant to the statutory functions and powers of the Immigration and Citizenship Service Authority under the Immigration and Citizenship Service Act 2010 to administer and regulate immigration and border management, together with the powers conferred under the Migration Act 1978 for the administration, control and facilitation of the lawful entry of persons into Papua New Guinea. The PNGDAC forms part of the Government's PNG e-Border Solution and is a mandatory border facilitation and security measure designed to strengthen immigration risk assessment, improve passenger processing, and enhance national border security. All travelers are required to complete their Digital Arrival Card before prior to the issuance of their boarding passes to allow for their travel into Papua New Guinea.
